Merry Christmas to our wonderful family and friends. This year has been very exciting for our family. The most exciting event happened in April when Steve graduated with his MBA from BYU! That degree is a big accomplishment for all of us. In May he started his new job in marketing with Cirque Corporation which specializes in touch input technology. Already he has traveled to Taiwan, Japan, and Texas on business trips. Steve is really enjoying his new career and loves being out of school. He turned the big 30 this year. He still likes playing and watching all of his favorite sports, although we did have a serious discussion about him retiring from flag football while he was having his shoulder x-rayed. Those discussions only lasted until the x-rays showed no major damage.
Amy continues to be busy as a wife and mom. With two active little girls there is never a dull moment around our house. Amy decided to give running a try this past spring and got Steve involved in it too. They both ran the American Fork Steel Days 5K in July and the Highland Oktoberfest 10K. They were surprised how much they liked running and can't wait for warmer weather to get going again. In September, Amy spent a girls weekend in San Francisco with her mom and sister. While there she was finally able to see the musical Wicked. She enjoys teaching the 12 and 13 year-old Sunday school class at church. She turned 29 this year and also celebrated six years as Mrs. Baker.
Brooklyn is a very sweet and loving girl. She turned three this year which meant starting preschool. She has progressed more than we could have hoped for thanks to some very patient and loving teachers. Her self-confidence has grown and her personality has really come out more because of this new experience. She has developed a very silly side to her and often gets bad cases of the giggles. Brooklyn is our angel and we love her so much.
London is a very happy 20 month old. She keeps us laughing. She amazes us with how smart she is. Climbing on anything is her favorite activity so she really enjoyed all our outings to the park this year. She loves dancing and recently learned how to turn the radio on and immediately starts dancing once she hears the music. London also loves to read and points out every ball she sees on the pages. She must be her daddy's little girl! We love our London.
We hope that each of you have a happy holiday season and express our gratitude for such wonderful friends and family.
Love,
The Bakers

I LOVE your Christmas card. Your family is getting big and sooooo cute! I miss you! Liessa*
I'm glad you guys are doing well! You have such a cute little family. :)I can't believe some of the injuries those guys get playing flag football. They might as well play touch! Mikal definitely misses the stake athletics. They don't do any of that in our stake, which is a bummer for him!
