18 Months

London at 18 months:
Weight: 27.5 lbs., 88%tile
Height: 35 in., 99%tile
Head Circumference: 19 in., 90%tile (just like her daddy)
London Jean turned 18 months old on September 25. We just love this girl. She is so dang cute and very hilarious! She continues to keep her mama on her toes because she is so busy. She now runs everywhere, she dances and sings, she does the actions to songs we sing, she is learning more and more words everyday...her latest sounds like "amy" for "amen" in her high-pitched voice. She never stops moving and climbing. She has the biggest smile almost all the time because she is almost always happy. She sleeps like a champ! She eats like a champ! Her favorite signs are "more", "please", "baby", "eat", and "drink." Every morning when I get her out of bed she stands up in her crib holding her blanket, gives me a winning smile, throws her passie out, and signs "eat." Did I mention she likes to eat? She also likes to laugh and giggle. She likes animals, her favorites are the fish, horsie, and kitty-cat. We have cats down at the end of our street, and London takes off down there the minute she sees one. Unfortunately London isn't very soft with the cats, and she has been scratched a couple of times now. London is shy when she first meets someone or goes to a new place and she clings to her mom. She warms up after a few minutes though. London is a beautiful baby growing so quickly into a little girl. Where has the time gone? We love you London.
We have been going through our winter clothes, and London had to wear these pink snow boots when she saw them. "Shos" she says as she holds the shoes up to me.
London got pretty scratched up about 2 seconds after this picture was taken. Poor girl.

Hey, London is so adorable. I love the picture with the cat...he does look like he is getting ready to attack. To answer your question, we moved to Mo at the 1st of Aug. Spencer started kindergarten last year and it was a nightmare all year. They had no clue how teach kids with autism. They sent him home all the time for bad behavior, withheld food, lied to me, etc. I could go on all day. Needless to say we quickly realized it was not the best place for him. We decided in January buy didn't get everything in place until the summer. We happened to stumble across a private school for autism in Springfield and after bugging the director for a few months she wound up with an opening for Spencer. Even before finding the school we had already decided on Springfield. MO has a lot more resources for special needs kids than AR. The school is very expensive for us so we sold our house, used the equity to pay for half the year and financed the rest, and moved to Nixa, which is just south of Springfield. We are hoping that 1 year will be enough to get him ready for public school. We are suppose to be in the best public school district around. I guess we will see next year. So far we love it, the area and the school. We have no regrets whatsoever except I wish we could have done it a year sooner. It was hard leaving both of our families but not nearly as hard as watching Spencer struggle all year. Thanks for your concerrn.

London is very Napolean Dynamite-esque sporting those moonboots. She's definitely our little fashion trend setter. I love and miss you girls.

What a cutie! Makes me think of what our Bethany might be doing in a few more months :) And I love your new family picture at the top, too!

I can't believe how quickly time has passed. She is so tall and beautiful-just like her momma. Good job documenting her life.

oh yeah, I love the new family photos. Are they with the same photographer that did them last year?
