Madison turned 1 year old on August 28th. We had a little birthday party for her that evening and by these pictures you can see that she loved her party. She was quite the little ham when we took her pictures. The facial expressions she made kept us laughing all night. Madison is such a sweet baby. We all love her so much. She is so fun to have in our family.
Here goes another attempt at a family picture. I always try!
Grandma and Grandpa Baker came, as well as Matt and Marianne and kids. We ate pizza then had cake.
Maddie could't wait to eat her cupcake. We tried to get a picture of her with her candle lit, but that looked like it was going to be too dangerous. As we sang happy birthday I slowly brought the cupcake towards her and took off the lighted candle as she grabbed the cupcake and went to town. It was like nothing I have ever seen before. She shoved the cupcake in her mouth and pretty much didn't breath for the next minute while she was devouring the sweet sugary deliciousness.
Thanks for the cupcake! She was a satisfied little lady.
Then it came time for presents. Madison was very involved in unwrapping her gifts, and she had great reactions to each one. Brooklyn got her the foam puzzle below.
London gave her this pink sparkly pony.

At one year Madison loves to eat! Some of her favorites include; cheerios, fruit, oatmeal, broccoli, and noodles. And whatever any one else is eating is also her favorite and you better share with her!
Madison is a great sleeper. Two daily naps roughly two hours each, and she sleeps through the night.
Madison walks around the house like she owns the place. She climbs stairs and dishwashers.
She loves to read books, point to fun pictures, and turn the pages.
Madison loves to be outside with the family. She is happy and sings in her stroller while on walks.
She likes bath time, and often can't wait to get in the bath as mommy gets things ready.
She says "da-da" and "ma-ma."
She likes to dance to music and laugh and squeal when she knows she is funny.
