Still waiting. I love how happy Brooklyn looks here. She was not nervous for her first day.
The bus comes right to the end of our drive way to pick her up and drop her off. This is by far the best thing about having a child in special education services. She loves the bus, and they say she really obeys and does a great job. They give her books to read to and from, and read she does. She is about the loudest reader you've ever heard. The bus driver says she enjoys Brooklyn reading to her. We are excited for Brooklyn's new big adventure of first grade. London's first day of preschool was August 28th. She is going to our neighborhood elementary school and actually attending the same special ed preschool Brooklyn attended. This preschool accepts a few normal developing children to serve as models for the class. We thought this would be so great for London to go to school and meet other children with special needs like Brooklyn. And we absolutely love the teacher, so we are thrilled she gets this neat experience. But no one is more thrilled than London. She loves school! Absolutely loves it!!!
A curtsy as we head over to the school.
My sweet little preschooler. It seems like yesterday she was my little baby. I can't believe she is old enough to do this and be so mature about it all. With Brooklyn gone and London gone in the mornings, Maddie and I are enjoying some quiet time at home and some great naps too!
