Steel Days Race

 We look forward to the AF Steel Days 5K and Kids 1/2 mile race each July.  It's especially fun now that London is into it.  After the 5K, Steve and London ran the 1/2 mile together.

 She did it!  She actually did really well and took third place in her age group, which earned her yet another trophy.  Two years racing and two trophies is not bad for our little beginner.  Problem was her mom didn't think she would place, there were tons of kids in this race, so we left the awards ceremony before her age was announced.  Whoops!  I felt terrible.  We had to get a hold of the race director and claim her trophy a few days later.  Next year we will stay until the end!

 Steve is holding his FIRST PLACE trophy for his age group.  Whoot Whoot!!  He rocked the 5K and set a PR of 22:23.  Nice job babe!
