Merry Christmas to our wonderful family and friends! 2010 has been an action packed year for our family. London turned 2 in March. She and Amy went to Dallas for a double lady bug birthday party for her and her cousin Taylor (they are a week a part). London loved visiting her cousins and flying on the airplanes. London is a big girl now who loves to talk, sing, dance, giggle, smile, and learn all the things her world has to offer. Her favorite places to go are Costco and Nursery. She often asks when it is time to go to these places, and now she answers we go to Costco on Saturday and Nursery on Sunday. London dressed up as a bumble bee for Halloween and has taken that role very seriously. When we tell her she is silly, a big girl, a good helper, etc., she replies, (with a straight face) “No, I bumble bee.” She is loving this Christmas season and especially the baby Jesus. London keeps us on our toes! We love her!
Brooklyn turned 4 in January and we celebrated with a darling cup cake party. We can’t believe she is turning 5 next month! Brooklyn has been healthy and happy this year which is such a blessing. She is learning and progressing well. Brooklyn is in preschool again this year and absolutely loves it! We couldn’t ask for better teachers for her. They love her and take such good care of her. New this year, she is riding the bus both to and from school. It picks her up and drops her off right at our door step! We have so many wonderful people who love Brooklyn and help her in so many ways. We are so grateful!
Amy keeps busy as mom, wife, and keeper of the home! She got to tag along with Steve on a business trip to Las Vegas for the CES (Consumer Electronics Show). The highlight of that trip was seeing the Broadway Production of The Lion King. Amazing! For her 30th birthday in June, Steve surprised her with a night away at The Hotel Park City. Two get a ways in one year! She trained all spring and summer for the Provo River Half Marathon in August. Amy enjoys teaching the 12-13 year old Sunday school class in our ward, Girls Nights each month with friends from the ward, and Zumba!
Steve has had a busy year with his job at Cirque. He traveled to Texas and Taiwan several times, and feels he is contributing well to the company’s success. His job is a wonderful blessing for our family! He continues to serve as Elders Quorum President. He enjoys his interactions with all the guys, and especially organizing all the move-ins and outs. Steve scored a nice road bike in the spring which he put to good use. He trained for and rode a Century (100 miles) in September. He also ran a few races, and participated in his first duathlon (a 5k trail run, 8 mile mountain bike ride, another 5k trail run).
We feel so blessed to have many wonderful family members and friends. We love you and wish you a very Merry Christmas.
Love,
Steve, Amy, Brooklyn, and London
