On Christmas Eve we made little ginger bread houses with the girls. It was so much fun for everyone.
Team Brooklyn and Steve with their finished product. Brooklyn really enjoyed this project and didn't complain once. She did a great job sticking the candy in the right spots.
Team London and Mom was all London. Mom helped with the frosting, then London took care of putting the candy in. She was so careful and focused, especially on this little Christmas tree.
She likes things in lines.
Finished product. This was so much fun, we can't wait for next year to do it again.
Steve reading "The Night Before Christmas" before heading off to bed. London looks thrilled! After we put the ladies down, Steve picked up Cafe Rio salads for us which we enjoyed while watching The Family Stone (one of our favorite holiday movies). We wrapped a few more presents, then set everything up for the big day.

Cute gingerbread houses! I can't wait till Paige is old enough to do one. And Cafe Rio on Christmas Eve? Brilliant.
Do you use regular frosting for the gingerbread houses? 'Cause I'm thinking that's a great idea! I love frosting and graham crackers. ;)
