Winter in April

So this is what we woke up to on April 16th. We figured we got a good six inches of snow through the night. Besides being sick of the snow and cold, this storm was bad because a lot of our trees had blossoms and with how heavy the snow was we lost one tree and several branches. Steve went around knocking the snow off the trees with a broom in hopes to save them from more damage. The next day the snow was all melted and we are now looking forward to sunny and warm days for the next week. But who knows how long that will last. Spring in Utah is so random! We are grateful for the moisture though, especially in the mountains. Our daffodils are recovering still from this storm.

We built a huge snowman one day and mowed the lawn in the same week. I love Utah!
