ELF

December 1st we had a surprise visitor show up under our Christmas Tree to start a new Christmas tradition.  She came with a note, and from the note we learned her name was "Elf".  She explained that she is one of Santa's elves and she was going to live at our house for the month of December.  Her job was to keep an eye on Brooklyn, London, and Madison, and report back to Santa at the end of each day whether they were on the naughty or nice list.  But that's not all... she explained how she will hide in a different place every morning and wait for the girls to find her.  She sure did find some tricky places to hide, as London would say.  AND Elf brought us a new Christmas story to read each night before bed.  She would simply leave a new book all wrapped up under our tree each morning.  This was all so exciting!

On December 1st, in addition to a book, Elf also brought the girls their Christmas pajamas.  Yay!

The girls loved their pajamas, and enjoyed wearing them all month leading up to Christmas Day.  Finding Elf every morning was such a fun adventure.  Santa took her home with him when he stopped in Christmas Eve.  We can't wait until next year when she comes again.
