Like Father Like Daughter

Sure London's daddy can ride 100 miles on his bike, but look who finally figured out how to peddle on her bike. We have practiced all summer long, and just the other night London took off peddling on her own. We are so proud! So is she! London loves to be outside riding her red bike. She is quite the little speed demon. Like father like daughter! Below is a video of her on her bike.



London cracks us up. She is constantly singing, talking, dancing, giggling, and getting into all sorts of mischief. I came down stairs yesterday and she proudly showed me how she colored on the white toy box with blue pen. Brooklyn supplied her with the pen, and both girls got into trouble. London's favorite songs are the ABC's, I am a Child of God, and the Happy Birthday song. She sings these songs through out the day, and often as she is falling asleep at night. The other night I was listening to her on the monitor as she was in bed and supposed to be going to sleep. She was singing her songs, and she sang Happy Birthday to daddy, mommy, Brooklyn, and London. It was so sweet. Another night we had Jeff and Kiley over for dinner and games. As we were playing Uno we heard London over the monitor all of a sudden yell out, "oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah!" We were dying laughing!

She talks and talks and talks. We can usually understand what it is she has to say, but other times it is definitely a guessing game. And then sometimes she talks jibberish to be funny. Her brain is a little sponge just soaking up everything in her little world, and then talking about it.

This little girl can sure dance. The other night we were on skype with Grandpa Baker and he was playing his ukulele for us. London grabbed her tutu and threw it on, then danced to the songs he played. I can't wait to put her in a dance class.

London's favorite toys right now are babies. She loves to wrap them in blankets and put them to sleep. Then she shhhh's us to be quiet because the baby is sleeping. It is so funny to see how motherly she is already.

London is a little obsessed with being covered up with her blankets. Her blankets have to be just so otherwise she can not rest. She also makes sure her babies are covered up properly. She will be a wonderful mother someday.

London is such a special girl. We love her so much!
