Merry Christmas 2014

Dear Family and Friends,

We are grateful for this time to year to reflect on our many blessings and enjoy the Christmas spirit. We love our family and friends.  We count you as wonderful blessings in our lives. We hope you are happy and healthy, and ready for Christmas!

Madison is now 3 years old, but speaks as if she is 17 perhaps.  She is a delightful little lady, and she's mom's best bud.  Madi started preschool in the fall with a few other kids from our neighborhood.  Us mom's take a turn teaching each month, and we all have a great time.  Madi loves her friends from preschool, she loves learning and singing the songs, and making the fun projects. Madison also loves to dance.  She started a dance class also in the fall and she loves to go with her cousin Eilley each week.  She is very social, very expressive, and just so much fun.

London is 6 years old and in the first grade.  She loves school, and she is an excellent reader and student.  London enjoyed playing on a spring and fall soccer team this year.  London did not enjoy swimming lessons in the summer.  But swimming with her dad turned out to be a much better experience, and she was able to gain some confidence in the water.  London is taking a musical theater class this school year and is excited to be a part of a springtime play Frostbite, a spoof of her favorite movie Frozen.

Brooklyn is 8 years old and in the third grade.  Brooklyn is happy and healthy, which we consider a great blessing.  She is also very social.  She loves to go to school each day.  In fact, she often runs to the bus in the mornings.  She also loves to attend Activity Days with her primary friends.  She claps and says "yeah" when I ask her if she wants to go.  Her primary class and all her leaders are so good to her.  Brooklyn still loves new bags and shoes.  In August we tried to bribe her with these things as we took family pictures.  Brooklyn does not like to be photographed.  Miraculously we did get a few shots where she looks semi-happy.

For Steve and I life is crazy and busy, but so good.  Steve is still enjoying his work, and I am enjoying life as mom and wife.  The two of us were able to take a fun little trip to Seattle last month, which was a nice get-a-way for us.  We both trained hard for the AF Canyon Half Marathon in June, and were so pleased with our results of new P.R's.  Steve and I are very thankful for the many blessings in our lives and especially for the opportunity to raise these three beautiful girls.

We hope this season brings joy and happiness to your family.  We are thankful for our Savior, Jesus Christ, and we pray we all will remember Him and seek Him always.  Merry Christmas!

Love,
Steve, Amy, Brooklyn, London, and Madison
