We went down to Steve's parents cabin in Mt. Pleasant for the Fourth of July. Julie and Matthew and their family came from California, Dave and Rachel and their family, and mom and dad all came too. We actually rented the cabin across the street to accommodate everyone. The kids had a blast playing around the cabin and forest, the adults had fun visiting and chasing around those kids, and we had plenty of yummy food to eat. It was a great time.

We went into town for the Fourth of July Parade. It was a very warm day, and Miss Madi enjoyed a cold popsicle in a spot of shade while taking a break from collecting candy.
