London participated in a watermelon rolling contest at Steve's work party picnic.

Brooklyn helped herself to the remains of Steve's huge bowl of cereal. This is our popcorn bowl! Brooklyn loves milk so she was in heaven.
A chocolate cake I made from ourbestbites.com to celebrate Steve's half birthday and the first day of school. Yipee!
It was a big hit!
We stayed in a hotel in St. George on our way down to Vegas for my grandpa's funeral. It was a nice way to break up the trip a bit. And such a treat to stay in a hotel. The girls loved it. Maddie sang us all to sleep that night. It was precious!
These two are trouble for sure! They never tire of posing for the camera.

Wow that cake is impressive!! Looks just like the picture. What a lucky husband to get a cake on his HALF birthday. Maybe someday I will be as good a wife as you!!
