Grandma and Grandpa's Cabin

When Steve was 16 years old his parents bought some land in the Mt. Pleasant area and built a cabin pretty much themselves.  As they built it, they left a little Baker family info inside one of the walls.  They enjoyed the cabin for a few years, then sold it shortly after Steve got home from his mission.  With some remodeling and renovating of the cabin from the new owners, the Baker family info was found inside a wall and just recently mom and dad got a call asking if they would be interested in buying the cabin again.  They thought on it for a while as their children gently (okay, not so gently) persuaded them to get it.  They got it back.  I'm not sure about all the other seven children, but Steve is elated!  We went down a few weekends ago after a big snow storm and had lots and lots of fun sledding.  It is a beautiful cabin in a very beautiful area.  Looks like we just got a new vacation spot.

family cabins are the BEST! so glad you got to enjoy some sledding too. Sledding has turned into a major thing for me. I hope you like it as much as we do!

Cool story about getting the cabin back- how neat is that story.
