March pictures

We were still shoveling some snow at the beginning of March.  Well...not because it was still snowing, but because it became a ritual to grab a shovel whenever we arrived home from somewhere.  Madison LOVED it!  Her tool of choice was a little green rake (summer sand toy) and she went to town on the pile of snow that lingered along the east side of our driveway any chance she could.  She also enjoyed company, so she would happily hand out the purple hoe and blue shovel (also sand toys) to anyone around.  Sadly that pile has now melted, but Madison still gets out that rake and finds something to keep her busy.  She loves to be outside.
Brooklyn met a friendly snake at school and didn't mind petting it.
My manly-man (check out his beard) husband ran the Shamrock Half Marathon on March 16th.  It was a horribly hilly course out in Eagle Mountain, but he rocked it with a time of 1:54.06.

We enjoyed JCW's shakes after a Sleeping Beauty play our cute neighbors were in.  Maddie loved the grasshopper shake and even shared with daddy.

Our beautiful London turned 5 on March 25th.
A couple weeks later we got her a new bike.  A belated birthday present.  After riding the bike back and forth a few times, she excitedly told us she loves it, and it's ok that it was a little late.  What a gem!
Biker girl Madison joined in on the fun.
