Happy Birthday to our 7 year old Brooklyn on January 29th. Our plans were to go to Chuck-e-Cheese when she got home from school, but it snowed all day and into the night. Instead we went to a local restaurant for dinner and came home for birthday cupcakes.
The cupcakes were delicious!
Maddie stayed true to form and made a complete mess of her cupcake which followed with a bath.
At age 7 Brooklyn is smart and full of energy, life, and mischief. She loves to go to school each day and ride the bus. Brooklyn loves "cheese" which is her mac n cheese, and cottage cheese. Milk is her favorite drink. She still loves paper, pencils, purses, and shoes. She is in heaven with these items, and will often steel yours away when you're not looking. She loves to giggle, tickle, read books, flip her rubber ducks, swim in the bath, receive arm rubs, and play cards. Her favorite tv shows are Barney, Curious George, and Sesame Street. She is a daddy's girl. She shouts for joy when daddy comes home from work. Brooklyn loves her baby sister Madison. It's mostly a sweet and tender love, but at times it can become fierce and too much as she can hardly contain her love sometimes. We can't believe Brooklyn is 7 years old. We love her so much!

Seven! I can hardly believe so much time has gone by! With Avery, too, "seven" just sounds so much older than "six" :) Love you, sweet Brooklyn.
