We Made it to Arkansas

We are here in Arkansas. It is so green and beautiful. We flew into Little Rock on Wednesday, May 14. We rented a car and drove the 2 1/2 hours to Harrison. On the way here we passed by two different areas that had been hit by tornadoes in the past couple of months or so. It was amazing to see the destruction in person. It was a very long day of travel for our family, but the girls did really well. London pretty much slept the whole trip and Brooklyn was a trooper. Steve's parents drove our car out here loaded with all out clothes. We so appreciate them helping us out. Driving out here with the girls would have been a nightmare. They got here the day after we did and stayed four days.
Our apartment isn't the best, but it's good enough. It's hard coming back to apartment life after being in our home for the past 2 1/2 years. Our apartment is a good size and we have what we need here. The only bad thing is that it smells like smoke. It's quite bad actually. The second day here in AR, we were out of the house and I leaned down to kiss London's head and she smelled like smoke. That just broke my heart having my new born baby smell like that. So we have been febreezing our furniture and carpet and anything else we can. We light candles and just keep the air moving around. That seems to be helping. We went and played in a nearby park with Steve's parents when they were here, so I've posted some pictures of that. Steve had a good first week of work with FedEx. He thinks it is a great company and and will be a great internship for him.

London's favorite thing to do in Arkansas.
